The Play Shelter
Introduction
The Play Shelter After School Club at Malorees is an Ofsted registered childcare provision that provides After School care, half term, Easter and summer holiday play schemes within Malorees Infant School for children aged 4 to 12 years.
We deliver a programme of activities to extend children’s learning through fun experiences and educational opportunities such as Arts & Crafts, Sporting activities, Cookery, Homework Club and Performing Arts (i.e., music, dance, drama). Our child-centred approach encourages children attending our provision to make choices and learn good practice through interaction with other children and adults.
We are proud to provide a safe, stimulating and fun environment where children can develop socially, physically, morally, intellectually, emotionally and creatively.
General Information:
The After School Club operates from 3.30pm to 6.00pm and is based in the infant school dining hall. We offer an extended day option until 6.30pm available upon request.
Children are collected after the school day and choose from a range of activities to take part in. Children collected after 6.00pm will be charged.
To register your child, you will need to complete a registration form. Please see Brenda the Centre Manager at the club.
Tuck Snacks:
We provide daily snacks such as crackers, sandwiches, toast, noodles brioche rolls, vegetables and fruit for 50 pence per day. Parents can choose to provide their own snacks for children to eat.
Emergency Care:
We provide one off emergency care for parents who have an emergency or if existing childcare plans have fallen through. Please contact us for more information.
Costs:
Daily cost = £20.00
Full week = £55.00
Extended day option = £4.00 per day / £15.00 per week
Emergency Care = £25.00
Late Collection = £5.00 per 15 minutes
