We are always looking to enrich our children’s experiences, enabling them to develop their interests and enjoyment as widely as possible.

Enrichment at Malorees

Enrichment activities take place before, during and after school. Clubs are delivered by Malorees staff members and by the charity DFY.

Activities include:

Girls Football Club	Thursday 3:30pm - 4:35pm Year 3-6
The Play Shelter	The Play Shelter provides after school play sessions from 3.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. during term time. Children need to be enrolled for a full week to ensure appropriate staffing levels. The Play Shelter also provides holiday play schemes. Drama Queens	Local group, Drama Queens, offer After School, Monday and Thursday, and Saturday drama classes. They have been established locally for many years and have a reputation for quality and high standards. In the Spring Term we follow the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art syllabus, for all children age 5 plus. Last year 91 children did their LAMDA exams with us, with fantastic success, 56 gaining distinction and the others achieving merit. The Summer Term is our skills term, where the children develop their social skills and confidence through drama - our weapon of choice! In the Autumn term they utilise everything they have worked on through the year and produce a show for all the children to perform for their parents, e.g. Macbeth last December. Orchard Club	Orchard Club and Community Dig Days runs throughout the school year and is arranged and led by our PSFA. Parents are welcome to attend and bring their children. These days are communicated to parents and carers by the PSFA committee.

Girls Only Netball Club	Wednesday mornings 8am-8:45am Junior Girls only
Yoga Club	Thursday 8am-8:45am Year 2-6
Cooking Club	Monday 3:30pm - 4: 30pm
DFY	All Year groups: 3:30pm - 4:30pm (some sessions finish at 5pm) Monday - Football Tuesday Skateboarding, Basketball Wednesday – Commercial Dance, Tennis Thursday - Multisports Friday MMA

Malorees field also hosts football on Saturday mornings, run by FA Qualified coaches for boys and girls from 6 upwards.

There is no need to book these sessions.
